Ann Bittinger to Speak on Legal Issues in Medical Practices at 2013 AHLA Annual Meeting

The Bittinger Law Firm is pleased to announce that Ann Bittinger will be a featured speaker at the 2013 American Health Lawyers Association Annual Meeting that is being held in San Diego from June 30 to July 3. Ann will be speaking with Attorney Teresa Williams on July 1 and 3 in sessions titled “Physician Post Integration Issues: After the Honeymoon Are We Friends or Foes?”.  This topic examines how to successfully and legally operate a physician practice that has been merged into a hospital or large health care system. It covers proactive steps pre-integration to prevent a break up; blending culture, information, and clinical systems; physician compensation and changing financial outlooks; managing hospital expectations; and collaborative strategic planning.
