This month, the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar published an article Ms. Bittinger wrote on Florida case law regarding what amount insurers should pay non-par (or out of network) providers. Ms. Bittinger analyzed two cases in which courts grappled with the “usual and customary” payment standard.
